Backup That Covers Servers, Files and Microsoft 365

Your business depends on its data. When files, emails or systems are lost, having a reliable backup can make the difference between a quick recovery and prolonged disruption.

3PS provides managed data backup services for SMEs across Northern Ireland. We protect critical data across Microsoft 365, servers and other business systems, with backups monitored and managed on an ongoing basis.

From Microsoft 365 and server backups to retention, recovery and regular restore testing, we help make sure your data is protected and can be recovered when you need it.

Why it matters

What Actually Goes Wrong

Data loss is rarely dramatic. It is usually one of these four, and only one of them involves an attacker.

Most common

Somebody deletes it

By a distance the most common cause, and almost never malicious. A file is overwritten or a folder dragged somewhere odd. Recycle bins and version history only reach back so far.

Most damaging

Ransomware

Encrypts everything it can reach - including mapped drives and, often, the cloud copies syncing from an infected machine. What gets you back is a backup it could not touch.

Without warning

Hardware fails

Disks and servers fail without much warning. RAID protects you against losing a disk; it does not protect you against losing the server, the office, or the data on it.

Easily missed

An account disappears

Someone leaves, their mailbox is removed to reclaim the licence, and months of correspondence goes with it. The same applies to a lapsed subscription or a closed account.

What we protect

The Right Backup for Your Business

Not every business needs the same type of backup. We protect the systems and data that matter to you, using the right approach for your setup.

Servers

Full Server

A full server backup protects the entire machine — including the operating system, applications, settings and data.

If the server fails, it can be restored as a complete working environment rather than rebuilt from scratch, helping reduce downtime and get users back up and running faster.

Business data

Files and Folders

Where a full server backup isn’t required, we can protect the individual files, folders and shared data your business relies on.

This gives you a straightforward way to recover important data following accidental deletion, hardware failure or other issues, without backing up the entire system.

Cloud accounts

Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace

Email and cloud storage still need protecting. We back up Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace data independently, including mailboxes, SharePoint, OneDrive and Google Drive, so deleted, overwritten or encrypted data can be recovered when the built-in platform retention isn’t enough.

Getting it back

A Backup You Have Never Restored Is a Guess

Plenty of businesses have a backup running. Far fewer know whether it completed last night, or what would actually happen if they needed it.

01

Scope

Agree what matters

Which servers, which folders, which tenants - and how often each needs to be taken. A Sage file and a file server do not need the same schedule.

02

Monitor

Check it actually ran

Failed and missed jobs are picked up and chased by us. A backup nobody is watching tends to stop working quietly, months before anyone finds out.

03

Test

Prove it restores

Test restores confirm the data comes back usable, not just that a job reported success. This is the step most backups have never been through.

04

Restore

We do it, not you

When something is deleted, corrupted or encrypted, you raise a ticket and we handle the recovery. Nobody in your team needs to know how the backup software works.

How it fits together

Different Backups. One Managed Service.

Servers, business data and cloud environments are backed up differently. We monitor them, test them and handle recovery for you.

Security & Standards

Security Built on Recognised Standards

Backing up your data is only part of the job. Those backups also need to be securely stored, properly managed and available when they are needed.

We use established security controls and trusted backup platforms to protect your business data throughout the backup and recovery process.

ISO/IEC 27001 Certified

3PS is certified to ISO/IEC 27001, the internationally recognised standard for information security management.

Our security processes and risk controls are independently audited within the scope of our certification. This provides external assurance that information security is managed through documented policies, responsibilities and ongoing review.

Applying the Same Discipline to Your Business

We bring the same structured approach to the environments we manage for our clients.

This helps businesses improve oversight, understand their risks and maintain security controls that are properly documented and regularly reviewed.

Who we support

Nobody thinks about backup until the morning they need it.

We work with SMEs of 10 to 250 employees, running and monitoring backups so that when a file is deleted, a server dies or ransomware gets in, getting it back is a ticket rather than a crisis.

Based in Northern Ireland, 3PS supports organisations across the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Why 3PS?

Why Businesses Trust 3PS With Their Backups

Backup means handing a supplier a complete copy of your business. That is worth being fussy about.

ISO 27001 CERTIFIED

Audited, not self-declared

How we store your data and who can reach it is independently audited - which matters more here than on any other service we offer.

MONITORED DAILY

Someone checks it actually ran

Failed jobs get chased by us. An unwatched backup tends to stop working quietly, long before anyone notices.

ONE TEAM, ONE CALL

We do the restore, not you

The people holding your backup also support the systems it came from, so a recovery is one call rather than a conversation between three suppliers.

When Did You Last Test Your Backup?

Most businesses have something running and have never tried to restore from it. We will look at what is currently protected, what is quietly missing, and what would actually happen if you needed the data back tomorrow. No obligation, just a clear picture of where you stand.
